You gotta love this. An article about Koreans scoring poorer than previously ends up with a British and American bashing each other about who speaks better English. Humans are strange.

and you are something you can never deny..an idiot...what kind od British English do you teach??? you are a sack of crap..Korea does not need you molesting their children...or teaching hate..or your pathetic English skills

koreans do not need english to be a global force and the language does not have to be mandatory for all koreans. db48 is very wrong.

12upei--you missed the point. by the way, the americans are the worst english speakers in the world and koreans would be doing themselves a favor by learning british english.

Gillian: YES, English should be mandatory for all students, if Korea is going to be a golbal force..can you imagine trying to buy or sell products worldwide, if you only speak Korean? This is why Korea need English..

canadiot: americans and their cdn. cohorts can't say anything as their english is far worse than most koreans...This makes you an idiot..your English is sub-standard, and very Few Korean's English is better than mine..trust me..I have been here for 5 years and I have yet to find one..and you shouldn't comment about English, because yours is terrible...so you need to shut up..

lol internet arguments are quite strange (sometimes even real life ones). Reading youtube comments would make anybody want to shoot their monitor with a shotgun.

With only three mistakes in that sentence, it's obvious who the English stud is.

A lot of Koreans desire American English because Americans are big traders with them, even if our English skills are "sub-standard".

Any internet argument where Archie is on one side is automatically not worth reading. Reason one why I stopped reading the KT comments section. Every article degenerates into Archie vs. everyone else. He's a loon.
