Currently, I'm lovin' the single life. My own place, get to do my own things at my own pace. Plus, I'm too busy with a lot of things to get attached. Don't want my hubby to go and find another gal because I don't spend enough time with him. ^_~

Of course once the time is right and all that, I'll love to settle down and get married with someone that I love *cue in sickeningly cheesy music* I'll get to travel with someone, someone to cuddle and cry with, and hopefully get a guy that'll watch some martial arts matches with me. Smile

I have been married twice and between fighting over money and sex. I call single life is better. At least you have money and if you want sex well think about it. A girlfriend is nice and if you fight you can always find a new one.

Married, and then with children will make you old real fast. Tiring, headaches from noise etc. But, always a decent home to go to, your material possessions in one place, a stability if you were deprived of it before is a good thing. Easier to save, but then easier to have your money tied up in real estate for 'future assets' Rolling Eyes that you'll never be able to spend.
In many ways, btw, it's better in terms of money in Korea to be on the E2 earning 2.5 with housing thrown in that it is to earn 4.2 with a family to house and care for. Shoot, 2.5 is my minimum budget (excluding mortgage/housing cost!) and all I personally get from it is a small whiskey now and then. Haven't bought anything new for myself for ages ... no SEA holiday either. The kids are all insured though, I guess that's the thing that matters.
So, you guys hang in there tio be single a while then when you start feeling/getting older anyway, then do it.

married is POTENTIALLY much better than single, but it rarely works out that way in reality.

i have been almost married twice.

the first time i realised that i wouldnt love the person forever.

the second time she sacked another guy while i was on holiday in england and became pregnant with him!!!
damn!!!! i really liked her too!

Considering the average age of our generation (20 somethings now) is likely to stretch into the mid to late 100s I'm going to marry a woman who is in her late 20 when I am in my 40s.

I view marriage as what it is, a legal contract.

Currently, I find married life more convenient/advantageous to getting divorced. When either or both of us no longer feel this is true (because we no longer are in love, get bored, or have aspirations that would be restricted), we will go our separate ways. Going well over five years married (together 10 years), though, so I think this pragmatism benefits us.

Helps not to view it in terms of forever. Maybe we are just as confined, but I still feel independent and free. Also, we encourage one another to have interests and friends outside one another and to do our own thing. Honestly, I don't see us ever parting.

When I think of people who get married young (like us) and having children, buying houses and settling down in that sense, well, I think it sounds like Hell.

To the boy next door. If you think life is a party where the wife takes care of everything. You better think again. Not every woman will cater to you every need. After two marriages and me doing the housework, and working oh and forget all the fun in bed once you tie the not it's over. The women get lazy. Don't be a sap look before you leap. Even the last girlfriend was no different always Money money money. Doesn't turn me off of women mind you just makes one night stands look better all the time. Oh and keep thinking how nice it is to be married when she is out having sex with your best mate. And how much your forever love is when she starts telling you how much you don't care when she is the one cheating.
