My parents are coming over to visit me and they told me to make a list of things to bring. The only things that I could think of so far were:
1. Coffee Crisp bars - they're fn deadly
2. Gummie Candies - hello
3. Razors and pit stick ( degree )
What you would want to have if someone was coming to you and could get you things.... I need to ask for more.... I need to milk my parents for all they're worth !
No clothes, I'll just get those here.
So, what would you want ? |

yeah books are a good idea.
I'd go with booze, nonperishable snacks (like jerky)
The problem is a lot of stuff I want are things I want on a regular basis, like perishable food. So someone bringing me some fresh tortillas isn't really going to do me much good |

one cent, two cent and five cent stamps, a whole load of them
then hand them out as stickers from your home country: students will do their homework for them, clamour to be first to answer questions in class to get them, be model students to get them!
stamps. |

Duty-free booze is good. Also essentials like deodorant, toothpaste, and cold medicine (NyQuil liqui-caps).
I'd get some spices that are tough to find here like chili powder (not red) and taco seasoning. |

Gummie candies? Those are easy to get here. E-mart has gummie worms and there many gummie candies at Sweet Space locations.
My friend is returning from the States and every time I know someone is coming, I have them bring me dehydrated refried beans from Gordon Foods. It's also a good chance just to shop on-line and order stuff that is cheaper back home and have your parents bring it. Check out weekly ads online from stores in your neighborhood and see if anything catches your eye. There are bound to be some pretty good back-to-school sales going on pretty soon. |
