logically would that make sense to you?
With the fluctution of the Euro against the won, how would they decide the amount?
I do not think this would happen |

Surely absolutely no chance whatsoever in a hagwon. Even getting paid in won is a problem for some hagwon teachers
However, some international schools pay part of the teacher's salary in dollars. |

When my employer asked me to re-sign, she offered to pay me a contract based in US Dollars. In detail, she offered me $2000 a month. She hinted at it again today. |

Sounds like she's desperate to do some money laundering. |

Wow I'd jump on that.
Because of exchange my wage is less 1500 USD every month...
If rent wasn't paid for... I'd be a sad sad man. |

Unless your boss/company has an American bank account, I'd be skeptical of her ability to keep her promise, even if she's well intentioned.
I have been paid in USD before, for short term work I did for an education company that operates in Korea but has its HQ in the U.S. They did direct deposit from their American account to mine. But other than a situation like that, paying a worker in USD is bound to be a complicated and unstable arrangement.
However, if you want your paycheck converted to USD, that can be mediated pretty easily by KEB--- I have my current school direct deposit my money into a KEB account that's set to automatically transfer all deposits straight to the US. You can also hold two KEB accounts and use one for a domestic direct deposit, and another to mediate transfers from your domestic account to home, either by online banking of at an ATM. KEB also texts you as soon as the transfer is made, which is a Godsend if you want to monitor whether your school had paid you on time without having to visit an ATM. |

I know some people who have their salary stated in their contract in US dollars, but they get paid in Won. It's a pretty sweet deal if you ask me, especially when the Won isn't doing so well against the US dollar. They're laughing when that happens because suddenly their salary goes up. |
