Afternoon all,
I've posted this in the job discussion but not many people tend to hang around in there so I was just wondering if any of you have heard of/worked at the wales learning institute in Suwon?
I have a website for it (http://www.walesedu.com/) and it looks quite nice - although my Korean is regrettably non-existent at the moment!! |

Checked the site out,
there are 3 branches in Suwon, do you know which one they mentioned?
Ask them, either Paldal-gu, Gwonson-gu or Youngtong-gu.
For what its worth I'm pretty sure (90%) I had an in-person interview at the branch in Youngtong-gu, (If the director's name is "Bruce Lee" same place, hard to forget that name^^). Seemed like a really decent place, good facilities and all that and the previous teacher I spoke to raved about it. I decided to go with a Public job as I had just been burned by a Hagwon (badly), but the vibe seemed good. Bare in mind, I didn't work there, so don't give this too much thought. |

I shall find out - although Gwonson-gu rings a bell...Nam Wong Lee is the name of the director, and they told me it's in the centre of Suwon near the station and Pizza Hut if that helps!
It looks like this one could be a goer - waiting for confirmation from the recruiter tomorrow and then it's just a case of somehow quitting my job in time, selling my car etc. and getting my Visa! |
