they invented the air conditioner to combat such conditions.

Yes, they did, which is why I've owned one for years and years (except for that little failure in '06).

I LLLLOOOOOVVEEE the FRREEEAAAKIIIIN RRRAIIAIIYAN!!!!! and the god damned snow....we need more. More I tell you.

I didn't take a shower this morning, got on the bike to work, got soaked, lathered up with soap from the dispenser at work, then road around campus a few times for a rinse.

I think I'll do my laundry this way during the whole monsoon.

I don't love the rain but I don't hate it either. I'd rather have it rain then be 38 degrees C (100F) like it was in Beijing when I went a couple weeks ago.

I like snow too. Can't a person like snow and rain? Way better than sweating my arse off. Today I thought I was gonna collapse in the gym. Gotta take long ace breaks between sets and drink 3 bottles of cold water just to cope. If it was snowing I wouldn't have this problem.

What is this doom you preach of preacher man?

Days and nights of 30+ temps and 80% humidity. Of clothes taking days and days to dry. Of paper always being damp. Of mold growing in unexpected places (ie, not inside the refrigerator on last month's forgotten food) like on shirts hanging too close together, or up the wall and across the ceiling... (Someone came home from a vacation and found all the walls of the apt fuzzy.) Of breaking into a sweat just from putting your shoes on.

Korean summer should be outlawed.

Dehumidifier. Most aircons have a dehumidifier setting. I think it's called 재습.
