Hey this may seem a tad odd but i've been in Korea for 1 year and i'm about to embark on another, but I can't eat Korean cereal any longer.
I'm looking for a info on places to buy Weetabix or a Weetabix supplier.
I live in Busan and I have searched long and hard in this city without any luck. I have heard rumours that Seoul is the place to get them.
If you know of a place in Busan or you are able to obtain such an item where you reside I would happily cross your palms with enough WON to cover the Weetabix, postage, your time, and some beers.
Cheers |

| Weetabix, sounds so South African. I found some German muesli in a shop in Seoul. But I just skip breakfast food for breakfast, so I don't bother with paying 15 000 for a small little bag! |

Piggyback: Wheetos!
Also, you know Homeplus has Tesco cereal. I think it's actually shipped from the UK to here. Unfortunately it's only ownbrand cornflakes and frosties. |

I don't remember Costco ever selling it, and I often bring back a box when I'm coming here from home.
When I was 14 I ate 46 in one sitting, and I think that might be a world record. Not up there with the greatest claims to fame, I'll admit. |

The one in Yangjae absolutely did sell it at one time (albeit it has been a few years since I have gone there). Decent cereal can be found regardless. |

They had the minis at Home Plus in 2008, but like everything else which they import that is phenominal, they discontinued it.
Home Plus always stocks several varities of Tesco brand cereals. Give them a shot. Or get the monster box of Cheerios at Costco.
Home Plus cereals:

I had weetabix from tesco about 2 years ago, but not any more.
Good cereal stuff in Korea can be exoensive and they love the sweet stuff (probably targeted at kids). I found the most economical way is to mix them up.
I get too bored of a cereal half way through the box, so sometimes I mix the expensive healthy stuff with a little choco checks, raisins or fruit and use soybean milk. I premix and store in an airtight container instead of mixing each day. |
