There is a Paris Baguette closeby. Their different donuts tout their "glutenous" fillings in English.
Is it just me, or does that not sound appealing? |

lol. Somebody who's been to an English speaking country needs to translate for these Korean food companies and restaurants. |

what else do you call a wheat gluten-derived mochi-like jelly? still doesn't sound appealing.
Actually the thing that struck me as odd was the dance around the "sugar-free" they have for their jams. It's High Fructose Corn Syrup instead. I know, not quite the same, but man... I was hoping to have found some nice raspberry, pectin and lemon juice with maybe some preservatives... was I foolish to hope? |

I've got a place up the road called the "Packaging Cafe"...
They've got a sign that says "All menu only 2000 won, please" [sic]
And believe it or not... What they sell is those packages of instant coffee / hot chocolate / flavoured powdered drink mix... Mixed into hot milk...
Now they offer some sort of strange Korean cheese cake as well... Thus far I have not been brave enough to try another other than the "Swiss Mist Packaging Cafe Mix"  |
