There is a Paris Baguette closeby. Their different donuts tout their "glutenous" fillings in English.

Is it just me, or does that not sound appealing?

lol. Somebody who's been to an English speaking country needs to translate for these Korean food companies and restaurants.

what else do you call a wheat gluten-derived mochi-like jelly? still doesn't sound appealing.

Actually the thing that struck me as odd was the dance around the "sugar-free" they have for their jams. It's High Fructose Corn Syrup instead. I know, not quite the same, but man... I was hoping to have found some nice raspberry, pectin and lemon juice with maybe some preservatives... was I foolish to hope?

I've got a place up the road called the "Packaging Cafe"...
They've got a sign that says "All menu only 2000 won, please" [sic]

And believe it or not... What they sell is those packages of instant coffee / hot chocolate / flavoured powdered drink mix... Mixed into hot milk...
Now they offer some sort of strange Korean cheese cake as well... Thus far I have not been brave enough to try another other than the "Swiss Mist Packaging Cafe Mix" Razz
