What is the average class size for a high school English class in Korea?

If I get and take a public school job, this will probably be one of the big adjustments:

I taught ESL here in the US, and in my state at least, class size is limited to 11 students like it is for other special education needs students, and I built the whole core of my usual teaching around that size and like it.

But it wouldn't be possible in an average class of 20-30 students unless maybe the school had an over-abundance of computer time we could use.

Thanks.

That's about the size of an English Language Arts class where I live in the US. And since teacher training these days emphasizes group work, I'll not be lost -- but it won't be great for a foreign language class.

I'll have to think back to how my profs worked it in college. We have about 20 or so per class.

33? I never had a class that small! In a room that seats 40, mine vary from 36-44.

My classes were between 45 and 50 for awhile until they split them up a bit. Be prepared for the worst!

I teach at a technical public high school. My class size depends on the grade of student.

1st grade = 10-15
2nd grade = 15-20
3rd grade = 25-35

Yeah I'd say somewhere between 10 and 50 sounds about right.

I wonder too how many of the students you see multiple times throughout the week? I know that you have to teach 22 classes, but is that 22 classes of completely different students or do they typically have English every day?
