So i have decided to leave Korea early... various reasons...

I started in March, and handed in my notice and gave 2 months notice so that I would leave on September 4th. From March to September is 6 months, so I thought I would be sweet with the flights, but I neglected to count it down to the exact day. So my co teacher has told me that because I am leaving before my 6 months (September 9th is exactly 6 months) I have to pay back my ticket...

It is only 3 working days, between the 4th and the 9th, so I asked my co teacher if I could just work those extra 3 days so I wouldn't have to pay back the flights, it will be an expensive 3 days!
She is going to ask the administration, but if the worst case scenario arises, they wont let me work the 3 extra days, and I have to pay back the flights, what should I do?

Do I have any grounds to stand on or am I fakd?
Arg!!! Please help!

If your contract says March 9th (to March 8th) then yes you are fahked

If they say no (and they might because they are choked) get your money ready, you will never see that money, and have no legal right to get it whatsoever.

I'm afraid that you don't have a leg to stand on. The contract is pretty clear...6 months is 6 months. If your school is kind...you might be O.K. If your school puts their foot down, then there is nothing that you can do I'm afraid. Sorry Sad
