Where is the best place to get flight tickets to Tokyo? i just checked expedia and Seoul to Tokyo is US$510 return. I would love to go to Japan while I'm this close but that price just seems a tad excessive.
To me, coming from Europe, that sounds ridiculous considering it's only a couple of hours away. I'm just thinking about how cheap it is to fly anywhere in Europe.

not a chance. I just went through a Korean tour company and bought Seoul to Tokyo return for 380k won including all taxes and fuel surcharges. That's roughly $260 USD.

Had I waited a couple more weeks I would have paid even less.

Okay, it's finally totally booked! I shouldn't have posted before it was all paid for.... Embarassed

For $1300, I'm going
Busan - Manila - Boracay - Manila - Singapore - Phuket - Bangkok - Busan

I am pretty excited about the one day/night in Singapore that we added in because it was the cheapest way to get to Thailand. Mostly we got f---ed with our Manila - Boracay RT... $200! We're paying less than that to fly Manila - Singapore - Phuket - Bangkok total!

Korean one. Tourbaksa.com

I'm not sure if they have English speaking reps. I speak Korean, so I never bothered to check.

It would be interesting to know if you got a good rate because you speak korean or they thought you were korean. I know if koreans travel to Boracay they get way better deals than the average foreigner. My advice is to have a korean book your flights and hotel reservations. It might be a lot cheaper! Shocked

Well, if you're implying that they might deceive you if they find out you're a foreigner, I highly doubt it. Their website's real-time prices quoted was the exact same price that I ended up paying.

Tourbaksa is one of the larger and more reputable companies.
