My recruiter told me I was offered a job at an elementary school in southern Seoul. I am sending in my documents on Monday. Should I get a signed contract before I send in my documents? Like a receipt for the job offer. I've heard other people on this site say that schools backed out on their offers... Just trying to not get screwed... Which I heard is quite common. |

YOU WON'T GET YOUR VISA IF YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR CONTRACT AND YOUR NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT. I REPEAT, YOU WON'T GET YOUR VISA IF YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR CONTRACT AND YOUR NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT.
Sorry for the caps but that would be unwise to do. If your recruiter says that you've been hired, then tell them to send in the docs. Simple as that. |

You should have a contract first. If you send them all your stuff before a contract then you can't use another recruiter because they have all your stuff. What if you need to use another recruiter for some reason? I say get a contract first and send that and all your docs together. |
