We're fostering a six-year-old male Cocker Spaniel who was unable to accompany his family back to the States.

He's a sweet, gentle, well-behaved dog who simply wants to be loved. He's great with kids. At the same time, he's laid back enough to happily settle into life as an over-sized lapdog in a quieter environment. His family had planned to take him with them, so he's current on all of his shots and in good health.

Unfortunately, we've discovered since taking him in that both my husband and our daughter are violently allergic to dogs that shed, so we need to find a permanent home for him sooner rather than later. We live just north of Jihaeng Station (Subway Line 1) in Dongducheon.

I thought cocker spaniels didnt shed... or it was a very minimal amount, among the small group of dogs that shed very minimally

I didn't think they were heavy shedders either, but this one is leaving hair EVERYWHERE, and my 12-month-old is going into violent coughing fits every time they get near each other. Sad

I'm interested. Do you have any pictures of this dog?

He wasn't overly-interested in cooperating, but pics (such as they are) are available at http://picasaweb.google.com/JDVickery/20090721#
