I have a dress that I want to wear for an event next week but it's a bit too big for me and I'd like to have it taken in maybe an inch.

Where is the best place in Seoul to get this done quickly and cheaply? Should I just walk into any tailor place? Is it possible to take it in on say, Saturday and have it ready in a few days?

If it isn't too complicated, your local dry-cleaner will be able to do it for you.

They can do it within 24 hours.

Alternatively, there is a dress altering shop in Itaewon in the alley next to the 3 Alley pub. It's almost like you reach a dead end when you are there, but there is actually a very small path you can walk through to get between all the two alleys. Going from 3A towards the next alley, the alteration shop is on the opposite side. They altered something for me within 2 hours.

Thanks for the info. There's a dry-cleaner in my officetel and I always get them to hem my pants, so they might be able to do the dress. I'll check with them.

LOL, was almost thinking about trying to gain 10 or so by next week since all the dresses I own are now too small and I cannot for the love of me find a decent-looking dress in Korea.
