I read from another poster a while back that it is around 8,000 won per transfer, and your home bank might charge another processing fee. They seemed to think the whole process shouldn't cost more than 15,000 won. However, this may have been an older post so I'm sure its gone up some... |

KEB charges 8,000KRW for online remittance. If you do the transfer at the bank through a teller you'll be charged 14,000 or 15,000KRW. What your bank back home charges to receive the remittance will vary. My bank charges $25 to receive a remittance so I try to send greater amounts less frequently. Also, with the exchange rate hovering around 1260 at the moment I'd say this is the time to make a transfer. |

Fantasic. Thanks guys. My credit union doesn't charge anything to receive a transfer, just $25 to send a transfer. It'll be very easy to move money when I get there. Can't wait. |
