Hello readers,

I will be teaching in Yangsan in September.

Please advise on what banks exist in this province? What k-banks are good for wire transfers to the US? And good in general?

Thank you.

A lot of older hands in Yangsan use the Kookmin Bank near E-mart. A few of the employees speak English and they are generally good about getting things done or, if they don't know how to do it, calling and asking someone...

Send me another e-mail if you need to know more...

If you will be in the center of Yangsan, you can take your pick. Many banks have a branch there.

Outside of the city center, Yangsan is mostly farm lands. Farms = Nonghyup Bank.
