How do I go about getting this notarized? and do I need to do the same thing for copies of my degree?

I have found redsealnotary but it costs like 50$ for a document which doesn't seem right.

Who has done this that knows the best way to do it?

The red seal notary sounds right. Take it to any lawyer; they basically photocopy it on larger paper (legal size) then put a red seal/star thing below it with a signed statement saying that the copy is from the original. $50 sounds about right for 10 minutes of their time... lol

Once notarized you have to take it to the Korean consulate located in your area for them to confirm and stamp it Rolling Eyes

dont go to red seal notary when other lawyers in the gta do it for 13 dollars.

A justice of the peace will do it for free. Red seal notary people are crooks

Where abouts do you live? Downtown Toronto? If so, I can give you a location (near Bloor/Dundas) where I got it done - they knew exactly what to do and did it on the spot while I waited.

God! Can you pick up a phone! If you are in Canada pick up a yellow pages and look up "Notary Public". Then call them, ask how much and where they are, what the process is. Easy. Hell just google it for Fs sake. Try " this "Notary Public" and "fill in your place of residence".

You will get various price, 50 dollars may seem expensive but it is not a frigging hamburger your getting. Pony up the cash or do not come to Korea.

Also once you get you degree and CRC notarized send them to the nearest Korean Embassy. Once again google is your friend. The procedure and address are on the site.[/b]

You don't need your CRC notarized.
