Is there anywhere in Korea to get these yummy meat-like snacks? I have already looked at the Ilsan Costco, to no luck. Any other ideas? Thanks for any help.

Have you tried Hannam market or any of the black market shops in Itaewon?

There will be a shortage of Slim Jims this summer due to a plant explosion at a beef jerky factory... Not a joke. Shocked

OK, Hannam was a no go. Any other chances of getting help? Customs will not let me have them shipped from the US. Beef jerky is NOT the same! Please help, thanks!

I know that the red door store in Itaewon carries Jack Links beef jerky on a fairly regular basis. There's a shot they may have your Slim Jims. The only other place I can think of now is I Love Cookie (There's one in Bundang near Jeongja station and I think there's one near Noksopyong station).

Two decent black market stores in Itaewon I am aware of are:

1. Red door store - Go out exit 3 of Itaewon station and make a U-turn so you're in front of Cold Stone. Walk down the street so you're walking away from Hamilton Hotel (you'll pass a Family Mart on your left. Keep walking for about 3-5 minutes. You'll see a yellow sign. The red door store is a non-descript place with newspaper covering most of the window.

2. Call Market - In fish alley behind KB bank and Starbucks of Itaewon.

Well, honestly, how else would it separate? I would be far more worried if I saw "chemically separated" or "naturally separated." Plus, the chicken is going down one way or the other. This saves me some chewing time. Very Happy

Honestly, I know how silly this request seems, but some people want mac and cheese or oatmeal or decent Mexican food. I want semi-sorta-meat snacks. But I have found a connection so hazzah!! And thanks again for all the help. I'll sticll check, if just to get to out once in a while.
