I will need to be out of my apartment for 2 days during my break during the last month of July. Water damage.
Anywho, I'd love to see a bit of Jeju. Do I need to buy my ticket ahead of time, or can I just go to Gimpo and purchase my ticket on the day I'd like to go? |

I would use Gimpo instead of Incheon for sure.
Walk up on the day should be fine.
From Gimpo you got the choice of:
Korean Air
Asiana
Jeju Air
Eastar Air
Jin Air
They all go Gimpo to Jeju multiple times every day.
If it were me, I would just have a look at the board and pick whatever is going soonest.
They will all be able to ticket you on the spot. |

The tickets from eastarjet's website is only 73,900 one day (full fare).. and closer it gets to the date it drops in price. If you have a korean friend you can reserve it online easily enough. There's plenty of seats available though. We bought tickets for july 24-26.. 69,900 one way on 24th.. then 73,900 on the way back. Cheap! |

Check out jeju airlines. I went in May one year and paid only w 100,000 return by booking online.
www.jejuair.net
The site is only in Korean, so get a friend to book if need be. |
