I know the Parthenon, but I couldn't think of its name.

I will research the ones suggested and print them out.

Just a quick correction.

With Australia...the Rock...it's either Ayer's Rock (the name that the Poms gave it) or...much more common these days...Uluru....which is the Indigenous name for it.

Just Uluru. Not Uluru Rock.

I hope that helps! I hope that the Summer Project goes well!!

Good Luck!

Great idea, Ilsanman.

I once did a project with a class where they did reports on UNESCO's 7 Wonders of the Modern World. The students had to discuss the significance of the Wonder and tell about its history. The more advanced students were given the places that did not quite make the cut; they had the same assignment, but also had to say why it should replace one of the chosen 7. The students really loved it.

Thanks all for the help. I did it today and it went well for the most part.

I cut out Peru in the end. I couldn't really find much recognizable or famous.

Hi I like your idea, very clever..

Here are some of my suggestions

Greece- The parthenon, Olympia
Mexico- Chichen itza(myan), Temple of the sun(aztec)
Peru- Machu picchu
Antarctica(just to cover every continent lol)- Ice, pengins, south pole

Well there's my two cents. Hope your project goes well.

Well, ice, penguins, and the south pole aren't really monuments, are they? Or do you mean monuments other than actual constructed things?
