From Dublin Airport:
Air France, via Paris.
Lufthansa, via Frankfurt.
Turkish Airlines, via Istanbul.
From Shannon Airport:
Air France, via Paris
And none from Cork as far as I know.
But If you can make your way to Heathrow then you have many options.
Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, Air France, Lufthansa, Finnair, Turkish, Emirates, Qatar airways, KLM, Singapore, Cathay Pacific, JAL, All Nippon, Malaysian, Aeroflot, Eva Air, Thai, Air China.
Hope this helps. |

Also, from Dublin you can go via Amsterdam with KLM.
A cheap option if you have the time is to go to London or a continental European airport like Rome or Paris and then via Moscow with Aeroflot. |

Do not fly Aeroflot unless you really need to pinch pennies. It's the worst airline I've ever flown, by far. |

When I first flew Aeroflot in 1973 and until I flew them again in January this year, I would have agreed with you.
My flight this year, in an IL-86, was OK. The return in Business class was quite good. That said, Moscow airport is a snake pit. |

If your destination is Busan, consider Lufthansa via Munich ....
Dublin-Munich leaves at 06:45 arr Munich 11:20
Munich-Busan leaves Thu, Sat and Mon at 12:10 arr 07:35 next day
Might be easier to fly to Seoul and then domestic to Busan .... |

Most flights to busan you have to go to seoul first, but I think Lufthansa via munich goes on to gimhae airport. you can get to munich from frankfurt.
but what I would personally do is to get a flight to seoul then book a seperate flight from there to busan.
And aeroflot aren't that bad, but I only flew them to Ekaterinburg.
And avoid KLM like the plague. I would choose Uzbekistan airways over them (and i'm not kidding i flew with them to tashkent). |

Since you're not coming from North America I assume you don't have an American's amount of baggage, but if there's a chance of excess baggage fees for a domestic flight I would just take the KTX. What is it, three hours? Not to mention not having to get on another airplane. Just a thought so you don't have to limit your options. |
