Hi,
Last night, I had just gotten cash, and then gas. Stopped and parked, was counting my cash while walking down the street (bad idea anywhere in hind sight) when someone nabbed my money AND my debit card I had in my hand. I'm a pretty big guy, but that doesn't help in speed. This happens in Korea, in an area I thought was supposed to be safe. What do I do ? There's been 500K + in charges on my debit card, and I lost 300k. Any ideas ? Thanks, not sure if the police can help here or not, and I need to report it to my bank today.

Does your debit card have the Visa logo on it? In the US you're not responsible for charges on your card not made by you. This may also be true in Korea. Go to your bank first thing on Monday morning and ask!!!!

Went to the bank today. With my supervisor, she helped to sort the initial paperwork. Have to go tomorrow, with a picture for them to file away.
Go figure.
