Hello, All

Wanted to know if some of you can help me out. I don't know what's true or not true regarding the documentation needed to get my Notice of Appointment from SMOE. I passed the final interview and now the recruiter wants me to get a CRC, transcripts, copy of passport page etc to get my notice of appointment from SMOE. But as the title suggests I have an F-2-1 visa and I don't have to get a new visa. The recruiter keeps sending me information that says these documents are needed to process my visa. But since I don't need to get one what's true? Any F-2 or F-4 or F-5 visa holders working for SMOE or will start working with them have any answers? Help. Thanks

Visa and Passport are two different things. He wants a copy of your passport page with your picture and your name and your passport number. As for 'processing visa' remind your recruiter that you already have an F2 visa. Again and again if it need be. The recruiters sometimes juggle many clients at once so confusion on their part is understandable.

Thanks for the response but I am hoping someone who has received their notice of appointment or is already employed by SMOE and have their F-2 visa (or equivalent) to post a reply please and thanks. I want to know what process you went through to confirm your employment. Thanks and please help.
