Notice that I didn't ask, "How much are you making?" Anyone care to guess why?
Saving as in your household, not just you. |

Saving about 1.500.000won a month on a monthly salary of 2.500.000. Sometimes there is the possibility to do extra work but it is rare as i'm in the sticks.

After deductions, I'm left with 2.4m and typically spend 1.2m per month and earn 100,000 per week extra for 3 hours on Saturdays.
So 1.6m in savings |

I am saving between 400,000 to 800,000 a month while supporting my husband and I. I have bills to pay back home and I don't do any extra work either. Better than I was living in SF though:) |

I spend about 400,000 won per month on food and booze. I cook at home so I save a lot of money. |

Doing ESL in the UK I reckon Im saving between what is probably between about 1 million - 1.5 million won a month.
Would be more if I wasnt such a psycho at the weekends, could remember to pay my credit card bills and also more if I could get up in time to prepare my breakfast and lunch. Could be set to take a large hit as some bills are due
If I stayed living at home with my folks you could make it probably over 2.4 million won a month but I would still be travelling over an hour each way, rising at 6am and getting home at 8pm and my life would be not worth living |

Saving 2M a month from a base salary of 3.1 .
However my spending has been a little too liberal lately. |
