Just got back from a restaurant that was recommended to me near Juan Station (Incheon) called On the Map.

The owners are American and their amazing food is worth the trip out there. I had a pulled-pork sandwich and my friend had the taquitos; both were like home cooked meals from back home. The owners pride themselves on being NON-FUSION.

I also saw on the menu that they had dishes like pad thai, amazing desserts, vegetarian choice,etc.. The owner told me she grows her own rosemary for the rosemary lentil soup. Everything is made from scratch and their prices are really reasonable.

They have a shuffleboard and projector wall screen for sports events, etc. too.

To get there: Juan station exit 8, take first left, first right and it's just down the side street to the left (the first or second side street, can't remember), 2F.

Sorry for the plug, but the owners are so nice, and their food so yummy...happy eating!

I'm thinking about making a trip down there just for that. It's been almost 5 years since I've been to the Juan/Yeonsu area

When you say the prices are reasonable, what do you mean?

Oh ;(

Not bad, I guess, but I was hoping for another 3k won for a 6inch sub + soda like the philly cheese thread. 12k won for dinner? i guess it's worth it once in a while.

3,000? C'mon, get real. Cheapskates should stay home anyway, they usually spoil the fun.

12,500 for two taquitos and three ramekins of cheese, sour cream, and guacamole? That's a little pricey.

I will check this place out; hopefully they have sticky white rice and kimchi side dishes.

What exit do you take?

My friend got a bigger dinner than the one in the picture.

No, seriously. there's another thread about philly sandwiches at 2500 a pop, 6 inches no less. Obviously that's a rare deal, but 12500 is average-mite higher than average price for a single meal, in my opinion.

of course, i'm a cheapskate when it comes to food: i tend to eat mostly cheap korean/chinese.

still waiting on an answer if that philly cheese place is open. someone's gotta know..
