It was hard for me to imitate Ray Charles singing "I Can't Stop Loving You", but it was easy for me to imitate Dean Martin singing "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime".

Chinese beer makes me piss a lot, seemingly even more than Korean beer did. It's really cheap in the stores, but the bars really mark up the price, making bar drinking an expensive hobby.

I read once that kangaroos evolved from woolly animals with four small legs to the marsupials we now know in only seven hours.
And they have yellow dog dingoes to thank.
(Why is the plural of dingo not dingos?)

I'm up later than I have been in ages. Time zones make it so hard to stay connected to people.

I keep picking at the inside of my ear. It isn't ear wax but dry skin.

I have a seemingly limitless supply of bogies to pick today. They are the soft little ones that are great to roll and flick.

I think I've become elderly before my time. I can't seem to sleep in past 7:30 AM even though I do not work at the moment.

A modern take on the song Back Door Man?

This kind of randomness is a great therapy for me.

I've noticed since college that I have a really bad habit of overusing parentheses in my typing. It started with essays and it continues now in my e-mails, posts online, etc. Never in anything handwritten, though.

I think it has something to do with my being a fairly fast typist. I get my thoughts down quickly and then start putting my "aside" thoughts into parentheses, when if I had just thought things out a bit longer I might have worded the sentence in a way that would make them unnecessary.

Or maybe it's just a poor form habit and I'm making things up.

Yep. Was thinking of Jim Morrison, but that's the song.

I had a pretty successful summer camp class as a Brit and I taught soccer and had a pretty good game with the students. It took the entire morning. Goal!
