| I'm sure all of you have heard about the boat captured by North Korea. My parents are freaking out about me leaving and said a war is coming. What is the consensus over there? |

Hadn't actually heard anything about it until your post...
From what I've read, it looks like the fishing boat went into NK waters after it's nav-sat system went on the fritz... An NK patrol boat picked it up, the two sides are talking about it (SK asking for the boats release, the NK officials saying they will look into the situation)... And that's that...
Tell your parents that a fishing boat is not going to start a war...
(Which kind of sounds like an awesome set of 'famous last words' lol!)... |
