I will be in Korea soon and am taking requests. If you need anything, are reasonable and going to be in the daegu area I would be happy to oblige. Anything outside would need to be managed accordingly.
So far I have American spirits (yellow), oatmeal and crest white strips. I also saw something about slim jims which made me hungy. |

I'm a bit curious. Nobody can find oatmeal in Daegu?
What about the white strips, don't Emart carry those? |

Can you get mustard at Costco in Korea? The mustard in Korea isn't the same. It's peppered, which gives a horseradish like taste to it. |

Do you want a new iPhone 3g or a used one? The new are hard to get without service, but I know some used ones available. As for the corned beef on rye, sold.
And Anyone craving chipotle, qq more. I'm enjoying some as I gloat/troll.
I will also be looking for some cook ware if anyone would like to barter in daegu upon arrival. |

You can buy regular yellow mustard at homeplus. I have Woeber's Genuine American yellow mustard. No need to carry it in.
Also, it's easy to get plain oatmeal in Daegu. They sell boxes of packet oatmeal at costco, but if you go to the Gyodong Jewelry Market street downtown (it's on the block with the Lotte Young), Take the brick road (recently renovated) and walk towards Daegu Station. follow along the brick path and there are a variety of small alleys to your right. You'll cross a paved alley, and then i think the 2nd or 3rd alley has a bunch of small shops which sell imported goods. A lot of the stuff you can get at costco, but it's much easier for me to go downtown than to costco. I've seen the big cannister of plain oatmeal at several of those shops. I don't remember how much it costs, though.
Also, as to crest white strips, I got something called "Claren dental whitening strips" off of a Korean website (ask a coworker, or try google translate). They were about 27,000 won. The crest white strips always made my lips burn a bit, but these don't.
Hope this helps people looking for stuff. |
