Is this over the counter here?

Does anyone know?

One of my kids might have given me ringworm and I want to treat it ASAP. And another one has pink-eye and came to school today. How can parents allow their students to come to school like this?

Thanks! Very Happy

Haven't seen it in Korea. Brought mine with me from home. Check at a chemist and maybe Google some alternative names to try on the pharmacist?

I think Lamisil is over the counter.

Expensive to buy the Lamisil brand though. 10,000won for a tiny tube, I recall. Ask the pharmacist to recommend a generic brand.

I'm trying desperately to get Lamisil pills for a fungal fingernail and toenail. The pills are the only cure for that. Korean doctors won't give me it because my liver has an ever so slight disorder. So, it seems I have to live with a totally yucky green thumbnail.

They sell it at any 약국 (pharmacy). I found that depending on the severity of the case, you may require two tubes. They will know what it is if you say La Mee Shil. Or if you happen to know a person in the States, have them send you Tinactin which is much stronger and works faster, though some people say it burns.

I have bought the topical cream over the counter at a pharmacy. It was the first time I had seen thins brand and, as another said, it was quite expensive.
