I just had an interview with Bae Yum School in Cheolsan. Can anyone give me the scoop on this school? I'll be talking with the foreigners there soon enough. It's just that I'd like to talk with as many people as possible.

I had an interview with this school about 8-9 months ago. After the interview & receiving the contract, I requested a current foreign teacher's contact information. They gave me one.
I asked the foreign teacher about the school, location, etc, and I also asked if she got paid on time.
The teacher showed my email to the manager, and the school pulled out on me. They were offended by my question, 'if the school pays on time'
It was ridiculous. I'm glad I wasn't hired.

I was a bit down, because I just found out an hour ago that they changed their minds and backed out at the very last minute. But after reading this, and rethinking everything, I realized that that's a good idea.

The hours were 8:30 - 3:30, but when I got the contract, it said 9:00 - 5:00. Their reasoning was that there's a weekly meeting that can last until 5:00. They said they would change it, but when I asked for that + apartment pictures + the second foreigner's e-mail address (the current foreigner wasn't responding when I asked for pictures), the school didn't seem as friendly in their e-mail.

Thanks for you input, GuessWho
