yo ladies, well, i should say non-korean ladies. i know we're in the land of the hairless, but do any of you know where to get some hair removal equipment, like wax, lotions, etc. i know you can probably get it done in a salon in itaewon or something, but i prefer to do it myself. any tips?? |

I'm not sure about the whole do-it-yourself kit thing, but I do know when I was looking for some hair scissors, I was able to buy a pair at a beauty shop hagwan for about 25,000 won in Gwangju, and all I had to do was ask. Well, OK, I had to mime a hair cut and say "seu seu ro" -- "by myself" but they hooked me up nicely.
So...*maybe* they would have something like that for waxings, etc. there? |

Almost all of the cosmetic stores sell hair removal cream it stinks but it works and is a helluva lot cheaper than going to that place in Itaewon, its a total rip off. |
