What's our fate? We've got the magic visa, but we are gtting old. Is there an age limit, or do we keep rolling on?

It's still there, but as it was moved to a new server, bugs are being worked out. It's up as of this writing.

In my line of work - I have met many many F visa holders (F-1, F-2) and many of them are still in their late 20's

I wouldn't call that old - they are younger than me...

the only people I met with F-visas who were older than me (or same age) were the F-5 holders... and they seemed content and wealthy

Just turned 35 and already feeling a bit old for kindergarten jumping around. But uni and public high schools could pretty much go on forever. And the older the better for some of the company work.

If you plan to stay here long term, you really need to try and go into business for yourself in some capacity or other.

Me, I'm out in December hopefully. We need to get the kids into an English speaking school and I need to get into teaching back home before I'm too old to make a good go of it.

So I'd say thirty x if you have aspirations back home, and also for a lot of the stuff out there, but if you can do the job there's always plenty of places that could care less about your age.

You need to save coin though. Korea isn't the ideal place to retire imo.

As a NZer, to receive super I need to have been in the country for a certain amount of time, paying tax.
