Hey guys! I'm heading to Gangwon-do with EPIK this August and I'm hoping to make some connections before I go. If you're going or already there and the below interests you, please drop me a line!
A little about me:
I'm 24, female, originally from Los Angeles but have been residing in New York for the last six years. I'm a big comics geek and draw a webcomic (ask me about it if you're curious). My favorite comic people are Jason, Seth, Chester Brown, Joe Matt, Warren Ellis... the list goes on. More D&Q then DC comics. I'm also a big reader. I was an English major in college and I'm bringing my copy of Infinite Jest with me. I love hiking, biking, and skiing so if you're interested in future trips that's great. I'm also like to meet other artists or people interested in doodling together.
This is starting to feel a little like a personal ad, yikes. Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting some of you on the other side of the world.
If anyone else wants to post in this thread with a description of themselves to look for other like-minded friends in the area, please do, even if my own interests don't jive with yours.
