Do the paid applications for spreadsheets on the Ipod touch support Korean?
I'm thinking of downloading the Office compatible suite which is highly-ranked, but don't know if it will support Korean language or not. |

That's a good question. On the bottom right of each app page in the itunes store has a link to the developers website where you could find a contact address.
If you find out post your answer here, I'm interested as well. I would assume that they would support any input language that the itouch supports, but I don't know for sure. |

Well, it does handle Korean, but...
I purchased just the spreadsheet ($5) from the highest-ranked one (the one that also sells Office Suite) and I'm disgusted with it. It's really odd -- the suite is the spreadsheet and word processor program together for $12.99. But you can purchase the two separate apps for $5 each.
It can't handle photos within Excel documents. Either they don't show, or they are way out of placement and cannot be fixed. The I-pod itself actually does a better job reading the document by itself when attached to an e-mail. Also, the touch runs very slow with anything but a 1-page document.
Any idea how you can rate these things without deleting them off of your desktop after you paid for them?
My reason for purchasing this was so I could do attendance on it every day with my students -- bad idea. I don't know what I was thinking. It's far too small (and too slow) to use for that. Oh well, I can make use of it if I download the non-photo class list version from our school site -- not for roll call in class, but for emergency checks or changes on the road.
Feel like I've wasted $5. |
