We are a couple from UK and Canada (I'm English, my girlfriend is Canadian) and we met while i was on a work visa in Canada. We really want to stay together after my visa expires and are interested in both teaching abroad together for a year.
Here are the potential pitfalls: I am a university graduate and native english speaker so i imagine i wouldn't encounter too many problems. My girlfriend is halfway through her degree in Canada and hasn't completed it as such. She does however teach a local class once a week in a nearby school. She is also considering getting a tesol certificate in the meantime, would this help her situation? Realistically, does she have any chance of being able to join me? We are hoping to around Jan time if this matters?
Would it be easier to get in other countries rather than Korea. We really want to do this and get it sorted soon. Would appreciate any help you can offer! |

In Korea, your GF is not able to get an E-2 visa until she has her sheepskin.
As for other countries, I don't know. Google is your friend. |
