Yes when I was in Canada. No to now.

I ran a legal company when my wife and I were back home, however here its not worth the expense to set up a legal shop. Yes it is profitable, but for me way too much soju and chicken setting up business relationships here when we visited...I can't imagine the drunken stupers I would have been in if I had opened full fight.

So there is no need to pm me with job requests...I don't have an office here for that nor do I have the time if I was set up for it.

To those who said why, first of all it's just a point of interest in general, and secondly, if I were looking for work it may be cool to contact someone from here rather than a complete stranger. I know we're basically strangers, but you know what I mean.

I *think* Stunted Wookie is one if you are seriously looking for something.

For the record, I am not. (A recruiter, that is, and seriously looking for something. I have a new job!) Very Happy

I recruit, but only for Daegu. Trying to keep things more local, so I can look after people better and stay on top of schools. Likely to be expanding out to the rest of Gyeongsangbukdo, after my website is finished. But I usually try not to make much mention of it on here, as I'd prefer to do my soliciting on the job board and keep this place for discussing and advice sharing.

Why? Should I recruit you? Will you pay me if I find you a job? Maybe I should be a recruiter. Laughing

Zed: The wisdom teeth are biding their time. They're waiting for when I get married, or perhaps the honeymoon, before they make their appearence. Right now they are gathering their forces underneath my gums, primed for the day when I least expect them. Then they will strike.

No. But I do help hire when we need new teachers. So perhaps I am more a co-ordinator?
