Have an interview with them tomorrow and can't find much about this school. I found another post about a Brighton school in another city and it was supposedly awful. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

If it's New Briton, then yes, it's bloody awful!

I haven't referred to it yet as "new Briton" so I'm not sure if it's the same one... If this one you mention happens to be in Mokdong, Yangchon-ku, Seoul then I'm sure it is the same... Do you know its location? Could you elaborate a bit on why it's so awful? Thanks again.

OMG, I just saw something as I exited the link you sent me...

There was a picture of some Santa hats (or nuns or whatever)...

The first day I got to that school I was given a few photocopies explaining about Korean culture. It actually said BRIGHTON on it, so I was confused and thought they're using someone else's stuff. IT HAD THOSE EXACT SAME SANTA HATS ON THE COVER!

So yeah, I'd stay away from this Brighton thing.

Yeah, like some sucking RICHARD 100% and others only 99%?

Teaching less than 3 hours on a Wed and less than 5 the others, AND getting paid my full salary with extra benefits I asked for, I love my new place compared to my old place.

It's all relative. If your first job here was God awful, anything better is heaven.

I disagree with the previous post. Sure, most hagwons suck a whole lot sometimes, but sometimes they can be pretty nice too. Then you get New Briton that sucks all the time, except when you are new. If they see they can bully you, they do. Until you stop taking their crap.

And actually, just today I saw something really interesting!

I have a never-been-to-Korea friend on Facebook that knows a teacher in Korea that I don't know, but this teacher actually does work for Brighton (don't know if it's the same branch as the one in question). So this teacher posted a photo album and I just looked through it and found pictures of her with her students..... and they have exactly the same uniform as the kids in my old school.

So yeah, they are def related, and if I were you, I'd not accept the job. But that's just me (and a few others), not you.
