you hear on the news 2 weeks ago, about the korean family man..
has two kids in highschool, has a masters degree, and is a manager in a big company, he climbed up a pipe and broke into a highschool girls bedroom and raped her.. he got caught and with his jacket over his head replied to the policemen who asked hiim why he did it..
guess what his reply was???

I'm doubt he means it's a conscious, thought out plan like you sarcastically implied. It might just be that a lot of guys are horny from the sex bars and express that on the subway.
Mind you, I don't think it's probably the case; I don't think it's a very viable theory at all, actually. But let's be fair in our criticism and not make a straw man, shall we? |

Anyone catch that Dave Chappelle comedy skit about women looking like **** and being treated as such? Basically, there's miscommunication in representation. If Dave were to dress like a cop and some crime was happening and a lady ran over screaming for help, he'd say, "LOOK lady, JUST because I'm DRESSED like a cop and LOOK like a cop, it DOESN'T mean I AM a cop! Leave me alone!!" So Dave says it's not men's fault if they can't tell the difference between women who dress like **** and those who actually are.
However, I think it still stands, that even with real **** you need to get consent first (I'm not sure how it works but I'm guessing you pay them first?) before you get to feel anything - so men need to keep their touching to themselves.
There's no excuse for a man being able to assault a person EVER. A girl dressed promiscuously is not ASKING for it when she chooses to dress a certain way. If she gets mistaken for a profession she is not in, I suppose she is justifiably responsible for appearing as such, but that never gives a man a right to assault her, period.
Honestly, are the men who perv on subways THAT incapable of controlling themselves? Seeing some skin is enough to get them going to the degree where they feel they need to act out their lust?? Geez. |

Dude, some room salons and sex shops in that area run 24/7 so men can do "business.". You don't think it's possible that some guy would leave a bar horney and drunk at any time of day or night and try to cop a feel on some PYT? Most of the high-dollar hookers live between kangnam station and sinsa station. That's well-known. Maybe the ajoshis think a girl in a mini in that area is likely a hooker and won't complain? Could be many reasons. |

I do think it is possible that a guy leaves a bar horny and cops a feel on the subway....Though NOT in the morning rush hour, especially the 60 plus percent of the ones they caught at that time! And any guy that is hitting sex clubs at that hour ain't riding the subway after to the office or home for that matter. They tend to drive their Equus or grab a cab.
Here is a more probable thought: Women are not seen as equals in this country. That rape or domestics hardly get taken seriously. That when K-men see a hot chick they feel they have the right to reach out and have a squeeze and that there will be no penalty to follow. A little more probable I would say then just being on Line 2 and who lives in the hood. |

Anyone got any experience with the Japanese Subways? Seen pictures where the commuters are literally shoved in on top of one another. Women included. Maybe they just accept the gropping as a matter of course over there.
I also fail to see what satisfaction one would get from flashing a camera to see under a girls skirt. Maybe they are testing an electronics surveilance system, or maybe they are hopping to find a girl with transparent underware. |
