I used to mixup itaewonguru itaewonguy and Jongnoguru

and also demophobe and demonicat (ok ok, so they only share the demo)

I also always thought I was going to read a post by the legendary Bundang Bear when I saw bundangbabo's username

Now there's ddeubel and deusbelli

benji and benji29747864

I should get new glasses.

Nothing wrong with your glasses. Maybe we should get giant tac boards where we can keep track of names/trolls/newbs/idiots/helpfuls/etc.....

I mix up all the people with numbers, nationalities (kiwimom, kiwiduncan, kiwi123, kiwipimp, etc. ), or Chinese sounding usernames (yingwenlaoshi, xiangmao, or whatever, etc.). I also confuse myself with Korussian.

I just mixed up Zippy with Wario on another forum where the people there have known him as Wario since he was in middle school (playing video games and Warhammer). They were like, "who is this Zippy you speak of?"

Then I mixed up RufusW with Ya-ta Boy here on a thread where I mistakenly remembered who had posted a quote on the previous page that I was interested in learning more about.

In my case, it's more like Old-Timers Disease. Shocked

The Benji's I get, because it's a rare name, neither have avatars and they both tend to have similar attitudes, as far as I can tell but Itaewonguy and the Guru? They have wildly different avatars, different interests, and even different typographic styles. To me, they're like chalk and cheese.

IG tends to write like a wrestler - lots of caps and exclamation points.

JongnoGuru on the other hand, nearly always bolds and colors people's names.

Tiger Beer
Bejarano-Korea
Seoulshakin
Rockstarsmooth

going back a bit, AlyAllen

see what I mean?

Of course, their writing styles are way different. It's just a two-degrees of separation game for me with the usernames - nothing to do with who they are. There's JongnoGuru, and at one point there was Itaewonguru, then there is Itaewonguy.

Likewise, bundangbabo is NOTHING like bundangbear - it's just the name that would make me jolt slightly.

You're goddam right about the benjis, though.

Have you ever taken a second to look at the list of user names? There are some crazy things going on there!

Just type in * and you can see a full list.
