i drink water. a lot of water. probably a gallon a day. i've heard you cant drink from the faucet in korea. is this still true? are there purified water jugs (gallons) available for sale? do they have a water jug refill system at supermarkets like we have here in the states? if not, what's my best option to satiate my drinking problem? should i just boil my tap water before drinking? or maybe buy a brita filter or something? other ideas...? |

Switch to soju. I haven't had a glass of water in years. Problem solved. |

Many Koreans boil water into barley tea, called "bo ree cha." They fill jugs with it and drink it often. |

They sell Brita's here, which is what I have. I prefer that over stale bottled water anyway. |

I pay 20,000 won a month to rent a purifier which includes routine service and filter change. Contact Woonjin water company and make sure they waive the 100,000 sign up fee. |

Airplane is the origianal spoof movie.
You know, now we got Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Not Another Teen Movie, etc.
Movies that make fun of other movies.
Well, the original was Airplane and Airplane 2. You gotta watch them. It's along the lines of Naked Gun, Naked Gun 1/2, Naked Gun 1/3...

6 of the 1.5liter bottles of water at costco are just under W2,000.
Beats buying one in GS 25 for W1,400. |

Go for water delivery.
Simple to set yourself up with a supplier & then a phonecall brings it right to your door. A 5-gallon jug of natural mineral water (not purified tapwater) costs 5000 won. Good water.
At your rate of consumption they'll throw in a free dispenser too with two taps, one nice & cold & one near-boiling. Very convenient. |

Go to the supermarket. Buy two 2-litre bottles of water. Total cost: approximately 940 korean won. Refill at your school for free. |

boiling the water won't get rid of the heavy metals.
I'd suggest the 2 ltr bottles that you refil at your school. Or getting a big pack at a grocery store. |
