I posted a buyer beware a few weeks ago about a person with the initials PS. Afterwards, he emailed me and told me he couldn't find the item I purchased from him, and that's why he didn't send it (and presumably that's also why he didn't contact me for a week), but he would refund my money.
Well, it's been a week or two and he still hasn't deposited the money. He probably couldn't find it, what with all the stealing he does. Apparently it's against the forum rules for me to tell you who he is on here, but if you email me I can tell you his full name, email address, and that he lives in Itaewon.

| PS must refund you the money forthwith. Anything else is stealing. |

Why the heck would you send someone money without having the item in-hand? Or at the very least going and seeing the item to make sure it exists in the first place!?
Maybe these are dumb questions... but let's face it... people will sucker you if they can. |

I know this isn't ebay but the standard transaction on there requires the buyer to pay first, then the item is shipped out. but the sellers are held responsible a bit more on there than here. |

| Yeah, have you ever had someone ship the item to you, then pay them? That just wouldn't happen. And as for it existing, the person contacted me via email and said he had it, and he'd ship it. He kept making excuses as to why it didn't get shipped, then he just stopped replying. Then, after calling him out on here and others emailing him, he said he couldn't find it and he'd refund me. It seems pretty clear that he intended to screw me the whole time, and even still he hasn't refunded me. He emailed again last night to say he would, but I'm not holding my breath. |

| Just curious--what would you recommend doing in this situation? I had a similar situation that is still unresolved with a seller on here--he skipped the country on a trip around the world with his wife without sending me about $80 worth of stuff I had paid him for. Doubt if he's ever coming back to Korea. |

Most people are honest about it I know, but there are always some losers who want to try and rip people off.
Maybe for future reference don't buy from anyone that you have to wire money to. If you need the item that badly pay the extra bit more and buy it new or go to the seller yourself and buy it directly from them with cash.
If the seller doesn't live near you forget about buying from them. If the item has to be posted then you are always taking a risk sending a stranger money. |

| You really can't do anything. If he's ever likely to use Dave's ESL, you can spread his username all over the site and try to blacklist him, or you can give a bunch of your friends his email address and have them spam him. I'd be willing to do that for you, if you PM/email me and give me his info. |
