Yes, please enlighten us... what is wrong with K? I am in a K seat which I was happy about since it is a window seat, until I realized we are going to be flying so high I won't get to see anything most of the time anyway. I still prefer window though, because I hate being crammed in between two people.

At least you'll be able to see stuff when we're close to landing! Hopefully the person next to me doesn't have their window closed the whole time so I can maybe see something too.

Whats the deal with A,D, and K? I think I have 40B so at least I can stretch my legs!

seat a, d, and k all have equipment boxes (for in flight entertainment) around the legroom area so there is less room to move your legs around or store some stuff down there.

yay! im so excited that we might all get on the same plane from sf! korean air or asiana airlines??

I'm flying asiana because it was like $70 cheaper. Not looking forward to 12 hours on a plane though Sad

the asiana price is almost $200 cheaper than singaporeair from san fran to seoul. im really thinking about switching to asiana...

and DsC, at least it's better than the 24 hour flight from EVA Wink

Yesterday, i decided to go with asiana so i purchased my ticket. I find out today that singaporeair is now $110 cheaper at $416 one way to seoul. My adventure is off to a sparkling start...

oh no!!! how sad! dont worry! well all be together on the same flight. itll work out for the best!! hehe.

I'm flying out of Chicago on Asiana Airlines, taking the EPIK orientation and teaching in Daegu. My question is this: does anybody have first hand experience with the weight restrictions/size that Asiana imposes on luggage for regular class passengers? Their web site says one thing, but their customer service will tell you something completely different. Errrrr....

oaknutters, I may be on your flight - leaving at 1am from Chicago on Asiana airlines. I'm teaching in Busan however.

I have the same question as you do about the baggage restrictions. does anyone know?

It's two bags (50 lbs max each) to check-in for free in economy class. If you're checking in a third one, it'll be $110 extra. Whatever after that, i dont know.

Wow that has just made my day! I was so upset that I would have to pay to check my bags twice since I'm flying to San Fran and staying for the weekend.

wait a minute dsc, which airline are you using to go to san francisco? I was just referring to leaving from san fran to seoul. I'll be flying to san francisco with southwest so my first two checked bags are free.

Hey everyone... my name is Dinah and I will be flying on Asiana from Chicago. The flight leaves at 1 am on the 18th from Ohare. I've noticed a few of you are from Chicago too with EPIK

Anyone interested in meeting up in the plane? I think it would make the 14 hour ride more enjoyable.

If so, email me at [email protected]

I'm in seat 16A

I'm soo excited to meet all of you!! Very Happy
