Hi there-
I have about a month and a half of time before I go home but won't have a place to live. Would really like to find an affordable place that is quiet (ie. on a beach would be ideal) I'll have a small dog with me as well. I want a place with internet connection, a private bathroom, and some level of privacy (ie. not a homestay).
Does this place exist?
Ideally I'd like to pay about 500,000 for a month, but could go a bit higher.
Thanks for any info!

On Goje island the area with the most motels (and therefore the most opening and possibilities for making a monthly deal at reduced price) is Jangseungpo. If you do find a place there for a monthly rate you could go more south on the island and find another, more isolated place, since Jangseungpo is a town on the harbour and fairly dense population as opposed to being alone on the beach, scenic tho.

On the main drag in Okpo, along the ridge highway which heads towards Jangseungpo and points south, is a Foreigner Help Centre. Because there are alot of foreigners working at the shipyards. Just walk in there and the guy can phone around/locate a cheaper place at monthly rent.
