I don't think it's real on the basis that, unless the guy was camera-phobic, he would have wanted at least 4 different cameras set up to record such an amazing stunt.

Also, How does one judge the exact distance for a jump like that. Even if you practiced that exact jump 30 times, if your speed is off by 1MPH or 1KMH, your distance is screwed with a 4 foot diameter infant swimming pool.
