Last I read in the news, South Korea's economy was rebounding. Prices of imports are a little higher, but overall, it's not too bad living in Korea. I've been here since mid April.

there are countless hogwans in my area. Not sure if they are hiring foreigners though. |

Funny, I thought Americans, Canadians, Australians, et al, WERE foreigners, in Korea?
OP: try a recruiter. You'll need a degree for your E2 visa, to teach in Korea. |

Is the recession why you're leaving China? In what part of China are you and how long have you been there? How are the ladies treating you, or are you running from one?  |

Seems to me that they're still wearing bound shoes. Not so pleasant for them. Think it would be impossible for a woman to escape permanent ideas of inferiority.
I'm splitting the prc because the pay's horrible, maybe not worse than before the recession, just stinky. You can't do anything but save and use their free computer.
I hate to work so hard & get dirt. I don't think I'll be appreciated any more in SK than here -- the clarity of my visions, you know. But at least I'll get more cash. |

There's nothing wrong with what I said. Many places will not hire Canadians/Americans/Aussies etc. They are happy with Korean-English teachers. I hope I made my point more clear this time. |
