I did 2 rounds of batting cage several days ago in Changwon city and felt really sore in the upper body area for 2 days. I lift weights and workout regularly, but batting is different as it's high impact. Repeatably batting baseballs is a great short workout on the go if you have a batting cage conveniently nearby. I never lived near one and didn't never give a thought that it's a body buster high intensity full body workout until I tried it. It's a simple game to challenge yourself and get stronger.

Despite being in Korea a while, I do not know a great deal about Seoul. Where are the batting cages, games, cool places, and such located? Thanx in advance. I'm going on Monday for a few days of vacation this coming week for a reality change.

I wonder how fast the machine pitches the balls. 40mph? They can hurt you if you get in the way. I guess you can also practice your swing at golf in one of those places that say, "golf," just like with batting cages.

I wish we had batting cages back home like they do in Korean cities where you see bright neon lights, love motels offering huge Xcanvas HDTV and more we won't talk about here, 3 or more convenience stores in visual sight, 3 bakeries in each block, and maybe video game arcades just like in the 80's and early 90's. Sometimes it seems like overkill, but it's like going to the Disneyland no one back home ever seen so I'll have to shoot some video while I'm at it. Korea's fun for going out to play these games found at seemingly random locations in the cities; something I wished I had done more of. Enjoyed the video game arcades in Busan a few times as it sends us back to the good ol' 1980's. All with, "Survivor - Eye of the Tiger," playing in the background.

Go to Hyehwa station (Line 4) and take exit 1. Walk straight until Mr. Pizza and turn right. You'll see them 50m down that small road.

Probably closest to Itaewon is Namyang station (#1 line). Go right outside the gate and cross the street. They pitch from 60 to 80 mph.

Thanks guys. Wow, I was thinking those machines almost simulate major league pitching with how powerful they spit out the balls. 60 to 80 mph balls are almost the real deal as MLB pitchers usually pitch 60 to as much as 100 mph.
