Hello all,
So, this is my first post, after lots of reading and searching in these forums.
I'm currently in Indonesia and am seeking to move to South Korea. Seeing that I don't have any kind of proper access to my home state's (WA state) criminal check system (other than an online report) which I can only get properly apostilled if I was there in person.
There is the possibility of the FBI check. Will this be acceptable? Apostillable
Does anyone have some advice for this situation? Anyone been through it? Should I just wait until I'm in Korea to do it?
I'm looking to get to ROK between ASAP and the end of September. I'm certainly willing, and mostly expecting to show up and find a job once I'm there.
All reliable advice/suggestions appreciated,
Thanks a lot |

Yes, the FBI check is perfectly acceptable. Just get it apostilled and you're good to go.
But it takes up to 4 weeks (or longer occassionally) so you need to hurry up and get on it. But just so you know, if you haven't worked in Korea under an E-2 before, you're going to need an interview in your home country. |

Any plans on how you will accomplish that goal? |
