I was wondering if anyone is currently using or has used a slingbox in Korea. I am considering the purchase of one before I head back to Korea but I want to know how well it has worked for others. I know it will have to buffer when it first loads up but want to know if the service is smooth after that initial buffering or if it is constantly buffering. Thanks....

It really depends on your upload speed. I have a slingbox and I like it.

I have it... it depends on your computer and your internet connection. My connection is great, but my computer can't really handle the graphics, I have to turn them way down and I can't really see much. You also have to keep in mind the time difference... so if you want to watch TV at night, think about what will be on TV at home during that time.

Other than that, it works great for me

I love mine, though it does take a few seconds each time I turn the channel.

its awesome, if you get a seperate digital reciever that only you will use and no one at home can screw with the setup you will have a trouble free time. Upload speeds from home end(UK) are not awesome so impacts pic quality, but would equate it to VHS quality when i have my laptop hooked up to the tv. Plus media centre remote works with it!
