Final post...
Could have edited, but, anyway:
If possible, take the BART to Berkeley. There are some great restaurants there. Not to mention the awesome atmosphere around the Cal (UC Berkeley) campus. Be sure to grab a hot dog at Top Dog (there are 4 or 5 locations around the campus).
There is also an amazing pizza place called The Cheeseboard. They only serve up one kind of pizza per day and once they're out, they're out.

Also, hit up this AWESOME diner: http://www.fentonscreamery.com/ (Edit: You may have seen the creamery at the end of Pixar's Up--I was pleasantly surprised to find they'd included it.)
Why I'm leaving all the wonderful food, people, and places in the SF Bay Area for Korea I have no idea... |

Don't know if the path is still there, but there used to be a VERY little know walking path from the Presidio to Ocean Beach (by the G.G. Bridge). Don't know how the Presidio is set up now, though.
You'd go in through the 15th and Geary entrance, then go up and to the left of the old Marine Corps hospital. Once around the back, look for a dirt path through the 'woods' and follow that along until you get to the beach. About a 15-20 minute walk if I recall. But, like I said, none of this may be there any more!
At any rate, the neighborhood around there is great. There are a lot of Korean and Russian places, along with Spanish, Vietnamese...you name it. Will have to get back there one of these years. |

ooh! I'm getting so excited from everyone's suggestions~
I LOVE silent films and the actors of that era...any interesting theaters to go and catch a silent film? I heard there was an old speakeasy, (now named) Bourbon and Branch...is it worth trying? Or just over-priced food and drink?
I'll only be there for 4 days, but my dad wants to take me to wine country, museums (he's a member of "something", so get gets into all of them for free and can bring a guest), Chinatown, maybe some jazz clubs (he loves jazz)...which is cool, but as I said I'm not the touristy-type of traveler, so I want to see unique things, stay away from the hippies/Haight-Ashbury, and eat great food. I can't wait to have crab and lobster..yummmmm! |

| I'll second (or third) Berkeley. Stroll Telegraph and Bancroft Ave for food, coffee, random shops, etc. Hang on campus, just because its a cool place to bum around. Get off at the Downtown Berkeley BART station and walk east. Oh, and there is a good pizza and beer joint called Jupiter right next to the station. |
