I'm due for the SMOE phone interview either today or tomorrow, and I would really appreciate it if people who've experienced this process could give me some insight/tips as to what to expect.

| They will ask you about your teaching experience, why you want to come to Korea, how you will teach a classroom with different types of learners, and ask you to state your teaching philosophy. They ask if you have any tattoos or piercings. They asked what I knew about Korea, and if I liked Korean food. That's all I remember from mine, and that was about half the interview. It was conversational in nature and lasted about 40 minutes. |

| My interview lasted no more than 5 mins. "Why Korea?" was the only real question that the interviewer had. Besides that, he just reviewed my resume, application, and health statement and it was over. |
